Yesterday night I returned from Romania. I went there for two days to see
the office of my future employer, WebSci
Inc. I also wanted to take a look at the city and life conditions
there. Frankly speaking, I had never been to Romania before thus hadn't
know what to expect to see there. The city
of Iasi appeared to be a nice place with a lot of cultural memorials
and churches. There were about 40 churches! (I wish I was a believer :).
The country itself appeared to be almost the same as Ukraine, with the
same bribe-takers, bureaucracy, and other post-Soviet stuff I has so used
to see here. The only major difference was the language :) Must admit,
however, though our countries are almost the same, Romania was a bit
better, since the approximate earnings were higher, and this could be
considered as a figure. A very warm meeting was arranged for me, I was
living in a hotel room for three persons alone. I also could believe in
Romanian vampires being bitten by gnats a little bit :) Well, my answer
was positive, and I decided to move there for half a year at least. This
will happen on the 8th September. La revedera :)
